An Italian Wedding in August

A Wedding party

During every year we host wedding receptions following church. We also have licensed rooms for civil marriages in the most beautiful spaces of Bylaugh.

Please do look through this page on weddings and  click here for more pics.

Bylaugh (pronounced bee-la) is truly an ideal setting for the ultimate romantic wedding.

Bylaugh Hall is a country house that is being carefully and lovingly restored to its former dignified glory. The East WIng is a spectacular group of buildings with a wonderful sunny feel about them. The unique old world atmosphere combined with high standards of comfort and luxury to make your special day memorable.

Bylaugh nestles deep in the Norfolk countryside seemingly away from all the world; overlooking the Wensum river valley untouched for hundreds of years. It stands magnificent, surrounded by quadrangles and courtyards and its famous clock tower -  the English Picturesque.

Your Wedding Dance

First... Decide on music or type of music to dance to. Bylaugh Hall is a focal venue in Norfolk for Partner Dancing - Partner Dancing is taught daily at Bylaugh Hall. Our dance tutors can help with recommending a song and even tailoring a dance just for that song!  Well WOW your guests in just a few short months!

Second:  Start private lessons and plan on coming in once or twice a week.  Set a night, maybe make it a date night, and stick to it. Dont wait till the last minute, you dont want to be putting extra stress and tension into an already emotional time!

Third:  Maybe skip the gym and practice your dancing instead.  Its a great workout.  Beyond Bylaugh, there are also hundreds of places to go.  Try Tango at Byalugh or ballroom; jive or swing the night away at Swing with Rock the Block!  Its a lot more fun than the treadmill! If you live far away from Bylaugh, we will be happy to recommend where to go.

Finally:  Have fun!  The time you spend dancing together should be a break from the stress of planning a wedding, or from your regular job. Some find its a hobby they carry on with even after the big day.

   "Speeches over...time to relax..."
